Frankart Nuart Era Deco Male Nude Lamp -SOLD!

This is a beautiful Deco era desk lamp. The figures are either brass or bronze with a gold tone finish and additional patinas. The two figures are pulling on brass chains seemingly negotiating the marble ball which contains the light. The figures and there finish is perfect, the marble is white beveled with natural striations. Marble has no chips of cracks and only several flea bites along the edges, barley detectable. The wire and plug are 1940-50s but are supple and smooth. Item will NOT need rewiring. Plug and Play as they say. Marble slab measures 13.5" w. X 5.5" d. figures are 7" h. This is an awesome pair of Rare lamps by iconic Danish designer Holm Sorensen. Circa 1960. Beautiful tapered brass over a conical black frame. Marked clearly on both bases. Holm Sorensen Danmark. The brass in in excellent condition the black frame has no oxidation. The harp and finials have some typical brass tarnish. Lamps measure 29" h. to tip of finial, 25"h. to top of harp with out finial, 16"h. from base to lamp top and 6"w. I am uncertain as to weather these shades are original, But they I believe that they are. They are classic 60's box shades with a slight taper and a beautiful irregular distressing. 20"L.x 12"w. x 13"h. They are in fantastic shape overall. With only 5 or so spot with cracked but not missing lanyard. hardly visible. There is also only support bar weld separated, also an easy fix. These will have to be shipped separately. Mid Century Suspended Chrome Chair by Ib Arberg Sweden - $950.

The classic Parrot Chair by Swedish designer Ib Arberg. Manufactured in 1970 in relatively small numbers. Original upholstery with very clean chrome. The heavy black base has some minor oxidation along the bottom very forgivable but other wise clean and true. The chrome chair swings freely creating a comfortable, weightless effect. The upholstery is 100% original but is a bit smokey needs to be cleaned. There is a 1/2 " split in the seat, and several screws have been replaced with comparables. Otherwise this iconic chair is plug and play. The top frame is 65" h. the frame plus chair measures 48" w. and the chair itself is 38" w. and sits approx. 1' from the ground.
