High Quality CENTURY Console Table All Solid Wood

CENTURY Console / Sofa Table $350

This is a nice slim console table from the Century company. This company creates strictly HQ furniture that retails for thousands. This item was sold new during the 1990's. This Console table is conservatively dressed with high quality brass hardware. Beautiful construction with dovetail joints and hardwood even inside the drawers. The table has straight legs with a gently splayed foot. The color could be considered a Medium Walnut. I am uncertain of the wood type. It looks like oak but I think possibly Hickory. It is most certainly hardwood. The construction is superb, drawers breeze open and shut. This console Table measures. 54"wide x 16" deep and 28 1/2" high.

This is a really nice Coffee table by the famed Henredon Company USA. This manufacturer is held in high regard and with good reason. I own several pieces of Henredon and the quality is supreme. This coffee table is Oval measuring 56" and 29" and about 19" high. Finish is nice with minimal signs of use. The brown Burled wood is set off by the black body of the top.  This is a great example of the quality and craftsmanship of Scandinavian furniture of the Mid Century period. Good wood, intelligent engineering, and timeless styling. Even staunch antique lovers appreciate this piece, Because Good is Good.

The cart is a product of Falster Møbefabrik of Denmark, the wood is Teak, the Ball casters are Archibald Kenrick. The doors have nice recessed pulls and open and close square and snug. They overall jointing is exquisite. The finish is very excellent but that is the nature of maintained Teak. 

The negative aspects are few and far between but here they are:

The removable shelf has gone missing and I do not have the key to the locks.  

As shown in the Castor picture: There is a sight hairline at the bottom of two of the legs where the Castors stem into the wood. This does not effect the integrity of the unit in any way. As shown in picture:  there is a slight rising 1/32" in the black slate top. It is barley detectible but necessary to mention. There is a light cup stain on the interior of the cabinet.  Otherwise this piece is in showroom condition.

Mid Century 3 Piece Bistro Set - Sold

This is a beautiful Mid C. 3 Piece Bistro Set. One table and two chairs. Solid Wrought iron with a nice hard formica top. Very graphic, yet light and unobtrusive. Table Measures approx. 29" across and approx. 30" high, Chairs measure about 40" at the top of the backs and about 14" across the seats and about 17" high. Nice and small yet big enough for two to eat comfortably. The vinyl on the seats is white/ off white and is fine but has some tiny knocks in it. Swanky 1950s Bar / Credenza Crisp Mid Century SOLD!

This is a real nice 1950s Bar Cabinet. It was kept in the office of a big wig who apparently was dry. Beautiful wood grain with a nice finish. Beautiful legs, Cabinet space galore, Adjustable shelves. Bar top is actually a free standing unit. It either sits atop the cabinet or can be mounted upon the wall. There is a light inside that comes on upon opening the door. The door has a push drop latch with releases when pressed. The door opens as a secondary shelf eases out with slots for glass'. The inner side of the door has a clean formica top for mixing and easy clean up. There are no bottle stains or any evidence that this bar was used as a bar. Clean, Crisp, Condition is a 9+. Cabinet measures 72" wide and 34 " h. The overall hight including the Bar Top is 50". 18" deep. The bar top itself measures 36" wide and 15" high, 17" deep. Vistosi Murano Mushroom Lamps Perfect Pair-Sold

This is s sweet pair of 100% Vistosi Murano Mushroom Lamps. Manufactured in the 1960's in relatively small numbers. No cracks, chips or issues of any type. Lamps stand 14 1/2" with a diameter of 13".
